How long does microblading last?

Microblading typically lasts anywhere from 12-18 months before requiring a top-up. This is dependent on lifestyle factors and skin type. Results may not last as long for:

  • Clients with an oily skin type/ increased oil production in the T-Zone areas.

  • Clients who are frequently exposed to sun.

  • Clients who smoke

  • Clients who use daily anti-ageing products containing Retinoids as these increase cell turnover rate and as a result, pigment is expelled from the skin prematurely.

How long is a typical microblading or powder brow appointment?

Appointments typically take three hours. In this time, the artist will consult with you to confirm your preferences for size, shape and colour, map your eyebrows to ensure symmetry and will then perform the procedure. Afterwards, after-care advice will be instructed.

Is microblading safe?

Yes, absolutely. Microblading treatment is suitable for those without medical contraindications. Please call or message to see if microblading is suitable for you.

You can be sure that the artist and client will have an in-depth consultation to design brow in accordance to the client’s requests prior to the treatment and the stencil will be modified until the client is satisfied with the shape before the treatment takes place. Only the highest quality tools and pigments containing 100% natural ingredients are used.

I ensure that the clinic room is thoroughly cleaned between clients to keep immaculate standards, and a safe and sanitary working environment.

Please note that every client is required to attend a consultation to discuss any contraindications of microblading treatment and receive a skin patch test prior to their treatment.

Does microblading hurt?

To ensure that the procedure is an pain-free as possible for the client, clients without an allergy to Lidocaine receive a topical anaesthetic to minimise discomfort.

Some clients may feel some discomfort akin to a scratching sensation as the anaesthetic wears off towards the end of the procedure, but it’s relatively pain-free.

Please note that individual pain thresholds vary.

I’m pregnant. Can I still have microblading?

I do not perform microblading on pregnant women to reduce the risk of medical complications.
